Spot de surf des Lecques
The beach break at Les Lecques in Saint-Cyr-sur-Mer is one of the most famous spots in the South of France. Its many peaked sandbanks and frequent wave action make it the perfect spot for surfing, longboarding and SUP.
Description
The spot stretches along the resort's longest beach (1.4km) from Port des Lecques to Port de la Madrague in the bay known as Golfe d'amour.
The peak season is from October to March.
That's why the L.E.C. Surf Club, the largest surfing club in the PACA region, is based in the town and offers training, introductory courses and workshops all year round.
Right next door, and reserved for experts, the Cap Saint Louis spot is a lovely right-hand pointbreak, long, hollow and quite powerful.
